Required Documents

The AMRUT Scheme says that people don’t need to give any special documents. Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) are responsible for carrying out these projects.ULBs manage and carry out the projects, so citizens don’t have to apply directly.

How to Apply

Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) carry out the AMRUT Scheme with help from state and central governments if needed. The ULBs handle the planning, execution, and maintenance of the projects under the scheme.

When ULBs lack project management capacity, state governments can suggest specialized agencies to execute projects. This agreement is between the government, agency, and municipality. The AMRUT 2.0 cities list will show which cities will benefit in this phase.
