How to Apply

Farmers and state governments can apply for Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana funding through their respective state agriculture departments. Proposals must align with the objectives of RKVY and address specific local agricultural challenges. After state-level screening, projects are forwarded to the SLSC for approval, ensuring that they meet the criteria set by the central government.

• Offline Application: Farmers and eligible beneficiaries can submit proposals either directly to the state government or through the Small Farmers Agribusiness Consortium (SFAC) at the national level.
• Project Screening: The State Level Project Screening Committee (SLPSC) reviews and screens project proposals before forwarding them to the State Level Sanctioning Committee (SLSC) for final approval.
• Implementation: Upon approval, an agreement is signed between the state government and the project promoter, after which the project is rolled out.
